The organisers of the RlOOK Scooler Clash entrepreneurship competition have extended the deadline for entries to October 26, and are urging kids to enter online and share their business ideas. Scooler amassed more than 500 entries in the first two weeks of the launch of the school entrepreneurship movement competition in August. Students are encouraged to pitch their money making ventures, hobbies and businesses. The winner will be announced next month, which coincides with Global Entrepreneurship Week from November 12 to 18. Scooler provides a platform for students at school to start asking vital questions about an alternative to mainstream tertiary education. On the Scooler website and via its social media platforms, students have access to valuable information about how to run a business; how to secure funding for their business; connection to like minded youth and exposure of their existing school businesses or money making initiatives to the community, corporates and investors. Visit scooler.co.za to enter the competition.
