Business Name: Humble Beginnings
At the moment I am the only one tutoring three Taiwanese kids, one in grade 6 and two in grade seven. I have also taught two Afrikaans children and two children from Zimbabwe. This is something that is valuable on a cv especially if you want to do teaching after school. If I win I would like to use the money to expand the business to give future teachers (high school students) with good marks in the subject, the opportunity to tutor in a classroom setting, for a pay. This way they get a preview of what teaching is like and they have something to put on their CV’s. This will be especially useful for students who want to study part time while working at a school, because they then already have some form of experience to qualify for the job fresh out of high school.
